My First Snowfall

It’s been a beautiful experience since the moment I landed in Chicago, I experienced subzero temperatures with snowflakes and gushing wind. Suddenly the reason it’s called the ‘Windy City’ became evident.

I couldn’t feel my hands, I almost froze as I walked to the parking but my heart could feel all the warmth. My first experience with flurries was an out of the world feeling, never saw a snowfall before, always my luck limited me to snow capped mountains but the jinx broke I saw SNOW happening that day.  ❄️❄️❄️. The road was all covered with a white sheet of fluff.

And as we drove through it, I had the best man behind the wheels, with some soulful music the drive to be home was surreal. I know it’s worth treasuring because it’ll never again be the first time.
